It is said that this probiotic is one of the best, but it is also a yeast. What is its role regarding Candida? Can it make any good?

| I only ever recommend Kefir and Activa. OTC probiotics are all bunk. The microbes die on the shelf. |

If I could get a cultured version of saccharomyces boulardii, what would you think of it? I'm interested in your opinion of the strain rather than it's availability within a package.

| Our bowel is like a milk-based septic tank. We tend to have the same types and ratios of microbes as fermented dairy. Kefir has the right strains. It's really not worth putting out more effort for something that isn't as good as kefir. Remember, we're talking about microbes here. Even just a quarter cup of kefir is going to have trillions more microbes than any store-bought supplement or culture-starter. |
